Exactly what I wanted

Liked: Another perfect stay at the Windsor. It's everything needed: a comfortable bed, a good shower with enough tea and coffee. Perfect location with plenty of places to visit nearby. Fred (my dog) and I loved it and we will be back very soon!
Disliked: Could have done with the lift on this occasion, but hotel were up front about it. No grumbles here though.

Absolutely amazing be back everytime

Liked: The location is amazing and they make your stay amazing staff are totally lovely my autistic son won't stay anywhere else now he absolutely loves it he's 5 and its always his place to be
Disliked: TV could need a little updating but thats nothing as its still amazing value for money

Disliked: TV didn’t work- not a major issue as we don’t spend much time in room

An interesting experience

Liked: It had off street parking
Disliked: If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to spend the night in a 1980s bail hostel—good news, this hotel has you covered! The décor hasn’t changed since shoulder pads and mullets were fashionable, and the bathroom sink has so many cracks filled in it’s basically a piece of abstract art. Miraculously, it still held water—gravity clearly felt sorry for it.The sash window was a real highlight: it fell out of its runners the moment I tried to open it, presumably trying to escape the room faster than I could. The carpet and curtains are seasoned veterans too—one puff of fresh air had the dust performing a small interpretive dance.If you stay over the weekend, you’ll also get a complimentary soundtrack from the local nightlife. Nothing quite says “don’t do drugs, kids” like a 3 a.m. chorus of slurred arguments and off-key singing.Overall? Let’s just say I survived—and left with a newfound appreciation for my own bed.

Disappointing, disgusting, outdated and dirty...

Liked: Very little. Cooked breakfast was ok.
Disliked: Outdated facilities, extremely uneven floor with noisy, creaky floorboards, ill fitting dirty carpets in room (carpet grips on show around the bed area) shower far too hot to use )no one had a shower throughout the duration of our stay!), NO ventilation at all (no sleep had by anyone in our group! due to extremely hot, humid conditions), safety catch on window broken (window pane blown and no visibility seen through it) very disappointed with accommodation during what was a family celebration weekend away together!

Bad

Disliked: The room should not be sold it is above the heating pipes and was like a sauna we had to get a fan but it didn't help even the receptionist said it should not be occupied
