Comfortable, friendly and authentic

Liked: Exactly what we were looking for in a village stay
Disliked: Room was modern while the pub was full of character and restaurant food excellent.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent as was the meal we had on the Friday evening. Accommodation, staff, cleanliness and location was super. It would be helpful to have a mirror in the room when drying hair and a couple of hooks away from the clothes hanging area (no wardrobe) for coats particularly if you have wet weather.
Disliked: There was some building work taking place which did create some noise during our stay but we appreciate that this was only very short term.

Very enjoyable overnight stay

Liked: Location, comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, superb food
Disliked: The only negative was ‘ the traffic noise did affect our room at the front of the building’

Liked: Great pub and food
Disliked: Added a service charge to the good bill which asked to be removed. I had a set budget for food (work)

Liked: Boutique feel In a country village pub. Low ceilings. Beautifully appointed rooms, really comfortable
Disliked: Very hard to shower at 6ft 1 tall- but I had a bath so that’s fine
