nice staff and nice location...

Liked: the location is good being on the cinder path between Whitby and Robinshood Bay
Disliked: the chalet we stayed in was not clean with there being debris stuck to the ceiling and marks where people have swatted insects not cleaned -the communal shower was not clean with paint peeling off the walls and mold on the ceiling

Great location but VERY expensive...

Liked: Great location so close to Whitby Abbey. Staff were nice and food was good.
Disliked: Very expensive for what it was, no WiFi, 1 pack of biscuits for 3 of us, not enough milk cartons, TV signal was poor, no hair dryer, no shower gel. One outdoor toilet and one outdoor shower for potentially 6 people to share in a morning and check out is 10am, could be 11am to account for people queuing up for the shower

A fabulous long weekend away,...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Can highly recommend and would stay again.

Liked: Fantastic place to say, very cosy and welcoming. Staff were fantastic and very helpful.

A great Whitby basecamp

Liked: We stayed in the garden. I loved the simplicity of it, quite quirky in a getting back to basics kind of way. When inside and the weather a little wild out, it felt really cosy and being with the family close together we had a good laugh. The breakfast was really really good with enough choice without being overwhelmed. We will definitely be back and I have told a few people about how good it was. If you want value for money and somewhere to call base for a few days this is ideal
Disliked: Is there anything about Whitby not to like? Never.

Liked: Very polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Can be noisy, but after 10 PM it was really quiet. Also, the room was quite small, but still ok.

What a hidden gem

Liked: The room was amazing the facilities were spot on the staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was out of this world
Disliked: Couldn't get parked when we first arrived could maybe do with allocated parking for guests staying apart from that a real wonderfull little get away

Disappointed

Liked: Lovely view out over the countryside.The staff were friendly
Disliked: We ended up not staying. It was not what we had expected from the pictures and description. There was no bedding in the ‘chalet’ for the sofa bed and no real space to store anything. The bathroom and shower were also separate which we had not realised before our arrival. There also a musty damp smell when we first entered.
