Comfortable and friendly.

Liked: We were warmly welcomed after parking in their car park at the back. We were given advice and tips about the area which was handy for our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast the next morning.
Disliked: Nothing we disliked.

Immaculate, compact comfort.

Liked: My recent stay at Wincheap B&B confirmed all previous positive reviews. The room was spotless, well cared for, and included thoughtful details like a variable-speed fan, which made a real difference in comfort.Breakfast stood out—fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. Both hosts were consistently helpful and welcoming from check-in to departure. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Large suitcases may be cumbersome to maneuver up narrow stairs. The 15 minute walk to central Canterbury involves uneven terrain and crossing a busy intersection, so staying alert is prudent.

Superb

Liked: Great location, accommodation and very close to the heart of the Canterbury. The Wincheap offers a home from home experience and very friendly owners who are really accommodating. Always good to start the day the a hearty brekkie and Terry certainly whips of a decent full English. Highly recommended and dont think twice.
Disliked: Nothing.

Nicest B and B I've...

Liked: Lovely breakfast. The first in Wincheap in 40 years. Top hosts
Disliked: It was over the weekend of the hottest day of 2025 and I was in the attic. Sweltering but couldn't be helped. Fan provided though.

Great B&B

Liked: Great B&B within the day walking distance to Cathedral, city centre and restaurants We were able to check into the room early after parking the car at thx back of the B&B and received a warm welcome from the owner Terry. I would highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely B&B in a great location for the centre of Canterbury. Takes about 10 mins to walk to the centre. Rooms were nicely done, clean and modern with some little touches to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Parking available for our car so we didn't have to worry about that. Highly recommend for a visit to Canterbury.
Disliked: Nothing really. Perfect for our stay.
