I like to be there

Liked: There’s a real sense of calm in the room, and everything — from the bed to the little kitchen corner — is thoughtfully put together. You just feel good being here
Disliked: There’s a kitchen in the room, which is really handy, though we still need to figure out how the oven works to warm up food properly. A quick guide would be helpful, but it’s great that it’s there

If I want to come...

Liked: This is a perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle, especially since the rooms are very quiet. The room is tastefully furnished with modern and comfortable furniture. The bed is wide and very comfortable, with plenty of pillows – ideal for both sleeping and reading. There’s a small kitchen area right in the room – a great idea by the hotel designers.
Disliked: There’s even a microwave, although we didn’t have time to ask the staff how to use it

Liked: Everything you needed in room and friendly staff. Decent food,would recommend
Disliked: Low hum from somewhere all night,made it more difficult to sleep

Decent location, good atmosphere, lovely...

Liked: This is outcome visit in 2 weeks to this hotel. The location is perfect. The restaurant and house keeping staff were amazing and Very accommodating and polite. Very good value for money. The sports bar was Brilliant too. Lots of games to play for free, and all the games consoles you could think of! A decent breakfast (bacon was cold) Love the motivational quotes on the walls. Really makes you smile and appreciate yourself more. Fresh cold flavoured water still or sparkling on tap is fantastic. No single use plastic, very clean and modern with a twist. When asking for an ice bucket, the gentleman was very kind and polite at 1am.
Disliked: When we arrived, we were told they couldn’t find our booking. So i showed my confirmation.. we were then told we had already checked in …? When in fact we hadn’t. The gentleman on reception had to go and check our room to make sure no one was using it. And when he returned, he said he was moving our room to be sure. I would like to thank him for also getting me an ice bucket at 1am. Very kind and much appreciated. On Sunday, When asking the host at the restaurant about Sunday lunch, we were informed it was £27+ each for the buffet but needed to pre book with reception in advance. I Would have liked to of been informed of this either pre booking or when arriving at the hotel. Ended up going to KFC down the road. In the bar, One staff member at the bar took my payment, then asked me 10 mins later if I had paid for my drinks… was a little embarrassing as the bar had loads of people waiting to be served. And finally, there was a strange humming noise in the corridor on our final night that was constant and could hear it in our room. Not sure if this was a water heater or central heating system but was very loud. All in all, we had a lovely time once again and we will definitely be back for a weekend away.
