Carpenter Needed

Liked: On arrival the gentleman who greeted us on reception was friendly and showed us to our reserved parking space in front of the hotel.I could only describe this ‘Hotel’ as compact. The building looks like it has been refurbished recently and is in a good state of decoration and facilities. While the room sizes are small they are just adequate for a short stay. Comfortable bed, toiletries together with Tea / Coffee supplied in room. There are no shelves or drawers to unpack clothing items or indeed anywhere to hang any clothing. Surprisingly, and it could not have been not missed by the service staff, the bathroom door needed a forceful shove making a great deal of noise to close it. Oh and if you are stairs adverse like me make sure that you choose a lower floor, not something I thought about, wish I had.

Liked: The property had a nice location WiFi was decent I liked the decoration of the place
Disliked: Shower was unclean with mould and a crack on the floor Shower water pressure was light TV didn’t work £20 parking

I was very concerned as...

Liked: Room was clean, obviously recently decorated.
Disliked: Thin walls, noisy doors slamming.

Bad

Liked: It was near the sea and the centre
Disliked: There was only one window in the ceiling that had to be closed because of the rain. A very small room for three people

Never again

Liked: Was close to the front
Disliked: Was very dirty, the floor and the bed were not level by a long way, the view was awful. The bathroom was so small, mouldy and the toilet didn’t flush very well. I did pay £20 which had to be cash for parking and this has damaged the bottom of my car (can’t wait to sort that out). We paid for two nights, checked out after one and stayed in a proper hotel.

Disappointing

Liked: The location is very good and the staff was very welcoming....
Disliked: Cleanness needs to improve a lot, dust in all the corners and on the fan, water marks on the mirror, coffee's cup marks on the bedside table and the TV... it's useless to put a TV in a bedroom that doesn't work at all! It didn't have a signal! Paint drops everywhere... furniture, even on the bed cover, also bed linen not well washed, the pillows had dark stains.Did not match our expectations!

Liked: Its location
Disliked: The room was ridiculously small, no storage, bathroom was too small to be functional and the shower tray and shower head were broken. The television had a portable Ariel which did work. The towels provided were only the size of hand towels. The bed was ridiculously hard and the window was almost impossible to open!
