Chef Melissa O' Donnell the five-time Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient joins The Williamsburg Hotel to bring Williamsburg an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant. A 60-seat venue tucked within the bar and lounge area of the 3000 square-foot floor Seven Seeds is an intimate affair where guests gather over traditional and Chef Melissa's interpretations of foods from the Mediterranean Basin touching on Greece Lebanon Israel Egypt Morocco Spain France and Italy. 10/10 Hotel! Would absolutely stay...

Liked: This hotel is very unique and exceeding our expectations. It is an experience and we would definitely stay here again. Top staff. Excellent views from our balcony of the city skyline.
Disliked: We wish we could have seen the rooftop levels but they were closed due to covid.

Disappointed

Liked: I absolutely loved the location of this property. It?s truly close to all and there?s plenty to do. I like the look of the hotel and the rooftop access is nice. Obviously, there is an amazing view of the city. During Covid-19, unfortunately, the water tower is closed but that was expected. The room itself was decorated well and the balcony was a nice size for about 2-4 people. The outdoor restaurant experience was good minus a hiccup. The staff and waitress were very accommodating. I requested to sit very distanced from others and they honored my request. The food portions were larger than expected and very good.
Disliked: For the price that it is being charged I would expect things that other 4-5 star hotels offer which would be more white glove service, help with bags, opening the incredibly heavy doors for you and so on. This hotel is more of a do it yourself kind of place. When I called because my balcony door wouldn?t lock I was told someone was coming to fix it and someone did come but with a pole. I had to jam the pole between the sliding door and the wall in order to prevent someone from breaking in. At that point I felt like I was staying in a one star hotel. The water from the shower spills out and they skimp on the shower gels, soap and toilet paper. I was there for several days so I had to call for more. During Covid-19 they don?t really service your room so they should take into account the amount of days you are staying and give you a bit more of a supply. The door that encloses the toilet from the rest of the room would not close without a gap so it was not easy to get privacy when not alone. I feel like the rooms are not being maintained well but they are still charging prices that actual 5 star hotels are charging. My outdoor dining hiccup referenced earlier was that a rat ran passed my feet as I was eating. It?s the city so expected I guess but I had to wrap it all up and eat in my hotel room at that point. This could be an amazing hotel but it?s obvious they are just counting on their location to fill up the rooms and not so much their service or the quality of their hotel rooms.

Great location beautiful hotel but...

Liked: The building is great and in a great location in Williamsburg. The staff was super nice and gave me an upgraded room.
Disliked: I was a bit disappointed in my room. My room looked really nice, but it felt a bit dirty. The paint on the ceiling above the shower was coming down. The tile on the floor seemed like it hadn't been mopped in a while. I had to ask for another roll of toilet paper. In fact the roll was about half way gone when we arrived. The bathroom door was really squeaky.
