Charming guesthouse with great food...

Liked: Charming guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff and great food. We got a room with a balcony and outside table and chairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Well located in a quiet part of London, with good access to the rail and subway stations. Teleworking from a table in the pub next to a power plug worked very well.
Disliked: There was no table or desk in the room for remote working. We brought the outside table inside to use as a desk, which worked, but was not super comfortable to sit at for long periods on a laptop.

Exceptional

Cozy place to feel like...

Liked: The William's location was great for experiencing a London neighborhood like a local. The pub restaurant had great food. It's a nice gathering place for locals as well as guests of the Inn.
Disliked: The stairs to the room were tiring when toting suitcases. The staff entered your room during the day to clean and leave water, and we had a couple of glasses missing. I'm sure they thought they were from the downstairs pub, but they were not (we purchased them at another pub across town).

A short bus ride from...

Liked: I expected an "historical inn" on the edge of London...and that's what I got! The rooms were nice, but small-ish; the bathroom was clean and very "efficient"; everything functioned well, and the BREAKFAST was excellent! Did I say how comfortable the bar/lounge was?!? Also, the employees were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful!!
Disliked: The beds were very firm, but not horrible.

Beautiful English pub with spacious...

Liked: I loved everything about my stay at the William! The location was excellent; a 5 min walk to Kensal Green station and an easy stroll into the city and Notting Hill. My room was also incredibly spacious with a big balcony, this was a bonus as a lot of rooms in this area are really small. I love that it had a real English pub feel about it but also had a nice clean bathroom and really comfortable king bed. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was delicious every morning, the pub meals were also great. I must make special mention of Tilde, who went to a lot of trouble to organise a late check-out for me and was very solicitous in making sure I had everything I needed.
Disliked: Really for me absolutely nothing.

Very happy with my stay....

Liked: Staff were lovely, an amazing breakfast. Decent room for the price
Disliked: Decorators workmanship iffy. If it were my place I would spend a little time on the finish in the rooms and staircase . Overall though I would certainly stay there again, good value.

Lovely staff, clean rooms and...

Liked: It’s just no fuzz accommodation. Clean and comfortable but basic.
Disliked: If I have to say something it would be that I could faintly hear neighbours through wall. No problem but It’s not gonna be 100% silent.
