Centric, well kept, comfortable
Liked: Centric, on main road. Well groomed beautiful backyard with fire pits and meditation circle. Comfortable bed, rain shower, room with a patio balcony and partial view of Sugarloaf mountain. Great restaurant in premises. Nice touch of receiving us with a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. Great and friendly recommendations from Front Desk on tourist attractions. Unfortunately, didn’t have time to try spa on premises but saw activity from others in using.
Disliked: First room we got was a bit musty (humid) and with view of the back of a shopping mall. Thankfully, it was quickly changed to a better and quieter room without fuss. The property is a bit smaller than what i expected.

Not worth the money, stay...
Liked: Bed was nice and comfy. Bathroom was spacious, TV was properly sized for the room. The main restaurant and its staff were really nice. Location to get to things around Sedona was nice and convenient.
Disliked: Amenities in the room left a lot to be desired -- no proper water cups, no water bottles provided in the room. You have to go outside of the room to fill up filtered water. Shower head was not good and needs to be replaced. The "wellness" stuff was almost non-existent and the staff weren't too helpful.

Nice place but again for...
Liked: The property was nice however it was next to a major shopping center which I did not expect by looking at the pictures online and the pictures online made it look much bigger with views. Some rooms did have views ours did not, but I’m overall it was fine. I was disappointed that no one offered to help us with our bags. It was not busy and Bauman would’ve been nice being that they are a resort spa

Nice but over-priced hotel on...
Liked: This is a strange property. It bills itself as a "resort/spa" and there are elements of this that work: a lovely fire pit area with plenty of seating, the pool (although cramped and only 3-4 ft. deep), a grassy knoll with two hammocks, a rock garden, a decent restaurant adjacent. On-site activities like yoga (but weirdly in the lobby of one of the residence buildings), a "vortex" expert lecture, etc. Staff is very nice and responsive. You can walk to Starbucks, McDonalds and Safeway next door. We did not take advantage of the spa, so cannot comment on that aspect. Highlight: one afternoon after a big hike, enjoyed lounging by pool and listening to talented musician Dan Vega. His acoustic covers of popular songs are better than the original. The food/beverage service poolside is attentive and friendly. Bonus:pets welcome.
Disliked: The location is directly off the main highway through Sedona. LOTS of traffic noise, especially during spring break. There are two main residence buildings - one that directly faces the highway and parking lot. The other building perpendicular with decent views of a grassy area containing the fire pits, rock garden and hammocks. I felt bad for anyone staying in the first building - the front views are of the parking lot & would definitely be subject to highway noise. And for some in explicable reason, the back side of this building is where the "dog relief area" is located. Rooms in this building literally have sliding doors/chairs that sit on the dog relief lawn. I'd be angry if I was in one of those. Secondly, our room was a suite, which included a sink, refrigerator, microwave and Keurig for coffee (not tea). The downside is that there are NO utensils, no plates or cups, not even a sponge to wipe the counter - just LOTS of cabinetry with nothing in them. Finding no cups in our room, I went to the adjacent restaurant, Rascals, and 2 cups of tea cost $13! Later I requested cups and Keurig tea pods and they were promptly delivered to our room. This is my third visit to Sedona and for the price, I think there are much better choices.
