Gorgeous pub, clean room and...

Liked: Lovely old pub, room was exceptionally clean and comfortable although slightly dated, excellent value for the price.
Disliked: Very noisy of an evening so if you need an early night avoid, this is not the fault of the pub of course, we should have considered this when booking.Having said that we enjoyed the bar atmosphere and live music, but were ready to sleep by 10:30 and noise went in til gone midnight.

Disliked: no breakfast was on offer although this was a known fact on bookingno wifi available although told how to connect to wifi nothing for hotel appeared in wifi searchbed not fit for purpose mattress long beyond its life there were depressions on each side which made sleeping uncomfortable

Disappointed stay

Liked: Bathroom was good and bed large and comfortable
Disliked: I booked this hotel in January this year to attend a nearby wedding and chose this hotel because it included breakfast.On arrival we were told breakfast is not available and we can book a table in a local cafe at our expence, but we would get a 10 % discount???On arrival back in the hotel later that evening at approx 23:45 the room was very hot even with open windows which let in noise from drinkers sitting on benches in alleyway under our window. This went on to about 00:30 when they finally faded away.However the worst thing was the noise from 1 or more roof mounted fans which did not stop all night and was so loud we only slept approx 3 hours.Overall very disappointed and will not be returning.

Good location

Liked: Good central location which was convenient for the event we were going to. Breakfast isn't served on site but they told us that as soon as we checked in and where we could get a discount at the bakery two doors down. Rooms are basic but clean.
Disliked: We didnt find the car park easy to locate and as far as I can tell it wasn't signposted from the High Street. When we checked in the staff told us how to get there but we had already parked up and paid for parking by then. It would be useful if directions to the car park could be put on the booking description to make it easier to find.

Liked: Great location in central Henley with lots of parking and very helpful staff.
Disliked: Wasn’t very clean! Thick dust on light fixtures, someone’s Malteser on the floor and ear plug under the bed. The bed wasn’t comfy
