Liked: Lovely old building, big warm bedroom, great atmosphere, lovely attentive staff, cracking full English breakfast

A perfect stay

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have mobility issues and our original room ( which was amazing) was a bit difficult for me. On our second night they very kindly moved us to an equally amazing room which was easier for me to get around.I cannot fault our stay. Breakfasts were great and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

Liked: Staff were friendly, location was perfect for us.
Disliked: Was a wait for breakfast, wasn't particularly warm when it did arrive and sausage wasn't very nice.Not the best sleep, unsure if pigeons had got into the eaves but either way they were noisy, from around 5:30am could hear them patterning around, an old building and understandably not a quick fix

Pleasant business stay

Liked: Good friendly and convenient hotel. Very helpful staff. Good bar food. Was given a splendid large room with exposed beams and an equally large bathroom.. They called me to let me know that I had left my slippers behind.

Would highly recommend the hotel...

Liked: We arrived early as we were not certain where to park, White Swan was on the main road. I popped in to see the staff who were extremely helpful showing us where to go. From the 1st poiint of contact to the last member of staff we saw at the hotel everyone was very welcoming and lovely. They had an event going on in the evening when we were returning after our day out, they apologised if it was loud but it actually made it a pleasureable stay as the hotel was buzzing with people.
Disliked: Nothing all good
