It was a fantastic gem

Liked: For facilities were fantastic. Service was great. People were very friendly close to the ship port only drawback we had was no elevator.
Disliked: No elevator

Perfect place to stay if...

Liked: We arrived right at check in time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It is a beautiful older historic building, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Excellent location. Breakfast was awesome.
Disliked: The air conditioning unit it worked well, but it had a rattle in it that we were thankfully able to block out with a sound machine.

Historic Property with good food...

Liked: Historic property that has been refurbished to a high standard. The breakfast and dinner were very good and the “vibe” was energetic. The staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi for transport to the Mayflower Cruise Terminal for our cruise. Note: some cruises embark a ten minute walk from the White Star which is very convenient.
Disliked: The room rate was on the high side.
