We will be back!!

Liked: Everything! Fish and chips were delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was large.
Disliked: Check in time is too late especially when you have flown all night and need a place to rest. We got in at around 11:00 and couldn’t check in till 3:00. We walked around the town barely awake.

Lovely hotel, amazing food, great...

Liked: We stayed at this hotel as it was near to the cruise terminal and had amazing reviews. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and all the facilities were expained to us and we were taken up to our room. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean all the facilities you could possibly need there was even towel robes and slippers to use and a free beer in the fridge! The bed was so comfortable as was the room.Lovely bar and outside seating area, great choice of beers, wines and spirits. Our evening meal was beautiful great choice, good price and lovely food.Breakfast was amazing with so much choice of continental and cooked food.Although it was stated that the cruise terminal is a 15 minute walk it is so close we walked it easily in 8-10 minutes so did not need a taxi.Throughout our stay we will most remember the quality of food, excellent room and above all the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff.
Disliked: Nothing, perfection. Just a couple of points to query a full pint of milk was provided in the fridge which was probably wasted as we only had a couple of teas each so hardly used any milk. Secondly a small soap in plastic is provided in the bathroom, again a waste as most of it is thrown away after use, a wall mounted holder filled with hand wash would be a better option.

Excellent location, stunning room and...

Liked: Absolutely stunning location right in the middle of the buzzing street of bars and restaurants. The bar was clean and fresh. A great menu of food and drinks. The staff were super friendly welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful and so clean and fresh. Absolutely spotless with everything you need. All toiletries included as well as complementary tea/coffee and water. Fridge was very welcome on this hot summer day. Breakfast was unreal with a huge selection of both cold continental and hot buffet.
Disliked: Nothing

Simply fab. With excellent breakfast...

Liked: Great venue, great location, easy access to old town, many more bars, restaurants and the Quay side. The staff were fab. Food was good. Room was comfy and quiet (except for squeaky floorboards-ads to the characterof an old building). Good all round experience. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: Uncertainty of parking arrangements for multi day/night stay, when we arrived. However, just around the corner (5-8 minutes) Eastgate Street multi story offers good facilities at excellent parking price rates.

Easily met all my expectations

Liked: There were so many things about this property that I loved, notably its history, location, the fact that I had previously stayed there many years ago and enjoyed it then, the great staff, the sumptuous room, and of course the breakfast. Thank you, White Star Tavern team.
