Nice place

Liked: Location. Close to cruise ship port. Also seemed like a good area for restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice tavern/ restaurant downstairs
Disliked: No elevator. Had to haul our suitcases up to the fourth floor. Not really a problem for us but could be for some people. Also the breakfast was awesome

It is lovely and we...

Liked: The room was so much more than expected! For being on such a busy street it was so incredibly quiet and peaceful. For sure bring a smaller bag and leave your larger bag in the locked closet downstairs. Breakfast was hearty and well done. The location was PRIME!!!
Disliked: A couple of staff got a little snippy when my husband and I wanted to share a meal and made some rude comments, that they did not think I heard, when I walked up behind them, but other than that... they were very nice and friendly.

It was comfortable, the customer...

Liked: The breakfast was very good, great choices and tasty. The location was perfect for the purpose of our stay. We were in walking distance to the Port and to shopping areas. There were multiple options for dining in the immediate area as well.
Disliked: The counters were dusty, and there were broken down closet doors

I would come back even...

Liked: It was in a great area, very historic, and close to the port.
Disliked: Some of the evening bar staff were not very friendly, so I went to another bar.

Beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous...

Liked: Both breakfasts and our dinner at the hotel were fabulous. The servers were excellent, and the very compote was the best I’ve ever had. They also had coconut yogurt! The hotel is exceedingly well appointed and the decoration is expertly done. Maritime history buffs will love the decor, which is done in a very artistically tasteful way.
Disliked: The room was a little small but I believe we were in the smallest one and we made it work! Everything else was grand.

Best memories of Southampton staying...

Liked: Location within easy walking distance of the cruise terminal, which was the purpose of our trip. The tavern itself has a great menu and the food was lovely, but it is also right beside many other eating establishments. Loved the rooms.
Disliked: Not a problem for us, but be aware there is no lift.
