Fantastic value for money and...

Liked: The White Star Tavern pub/restaurant was great, excellent food (appreciated the 10% guest discount) and breakfast was fantastic value for money included with our very reasonable room rate! Our standard double room also exceeded expectations, very good facilities, very comfy bed and lovely extras such as quality tea and coffee and chocolates and even proper milk, a beer and still and sparkling water in the fridge. All staff we encountered were great. We did find the location was quite noisy as opposite some lively pubs but this is subjective, depending on what you want from your stay. We could hear everything from room above as well. Otherwise very happy with our stay.
Disliked: Noise from pubs and from what we assume was the room above. Could heat every creak and movement from.above and the telly like it was in our own room.
