Lovely pub/hotel. Great food. Would...

Liked: Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Very good, reasonably priced food. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel/pub. Lovely pub atmosphere aided by oak beams everywhere.

Bad

Liked: The building itself was a lovely grade 2 listed building which dates back to 1510. Beds quite comfy.
Disliked: Decor was almost as dated as the building itself. The carpet was old and shabby, wallpaper equally old and tired. The room had a really unpleasant, stale, musty smell. Made it feel unclean. One of the beds had a blood stain.. Car park hard to find, as no signs. Definitely overpriced.
