Family Outing for a Wedding

Liked: We were a family party of 20 plus baby and from reception to leave taking we could not have been made more welcome. The rooms were all very clean and had all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts and dinner were excellent with a very wide range of food. Would definitely recommend The White Lion.

Bad

Liked: The building itself was a lovely grade 2 listed building which dates back to 1510. Beds quite comfy.
Disliked: Decor was almost as dated as the building itself. The carpet was old and shabby, wallpaper equally old and tired. The room had a really unpleasant, stale, musty smell. Made it feel unclean. One of the beds had a blood stain.. Car park hard to find, as no signs. Definitely overpriced.
