Liked: The property is lovely and clean and the rooms are clean and comfy with incredible showers
Disliked: The breakfast was a very poor continental breakfast,make your own toast or boil your own egg ,cereal is an option so if you like that then you will be happy ,needs more choice .

Liked: Continental Breakfast range was fine. Some croissants or other bread would have been nice rather than just brown or white bread for toasting.
Disliked: The restaurant food - Chicken dish wasn't particularly nice. There were no obvious breadcrumbs in the dish and the tomato sauce was a little sickly.

Adequate

Liked: Breakfast was ok , just continental, no cooked stuff but ok for me
Disliked: Wi Fi was great but no desk and chair in the room so it was very uncomfortable to do my work

Lovely stay, but not the...

Liked: The village is very pretty and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. We had our evening meal in the pub and it was very nice. While we were there a singer was on who was entertaining.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea. There were a few cereals to choose from but none took my fancy. The toaster took a bit of understanding and someone had already set off the smoke alarm off. I just had one piece of toast because one of mine burnt. Eggs were provided but you had to cook them yourself. So all in all not for me I’m afraid.

We really enjoyed our stay...

Liked: The location was brilliant for a wedding that we were attending at Oaklands lodge. The lady who was around during breakfast in the morning as an absolute icon - made our stay! The restaurant/ pub on the evening was great as well, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had a great catch-up over nice drinks!! Food and drinks all really well priced as well!
Disliked: Our room was quite dated compared to others that our friends were staying in and the bathroom, particularly the shower was very small and dated. But clean and a bed to sleep in!

Excellent 1 night stay for...

Liked: Lovely location, being attached to the pub I was worried about potential noise but the rooms are all in an extension off the back so this was not an issue at all. Room was spotless, a decent size, comfortable bed and a fantastic shower room. Everything in the room had instructions on how to use which I find very helpful. large TV, decent brew station. The food in the pub was exceptional pub grub, not overpriced, Staff were friendly and helpful and a real credit to the place.
