A perfect place to stay...

Liked: My room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the smoked haddock for breakfast. It was the best I've ever had. Cooked to perfection.
Disliked: Nothing.

Good standard, reasonable rates, lovely...

Liked: Perfect location for access to beach, nice, big comfortable room which was good value for money (not high end or stylish but good for our needs, could do with more surface space and hooks), excellent staff, very attentive and polite. Dog friendly which is a great plus, but no smells in room from previous dogs. Delicious breakfasts, also had a value for money evening meal one night. Happy atmosphere in pub, which seems to be used by locals as well as guests. Tbh difficult to fault in this day and age of expensive accommodation and food. We are getting fed up with paying a lot for mediocre, the White Horse offers traditional and reasonable rates and a good experience overall.
Disliked: Repetitive noise from fruit machine could be heard in room (became a bit of an earworm). An armchair in room rather than wooden chair would be nice. The bar noise and music can be heard in room, but to be expected and not a complaint, just be aware and bring ear plugs. Apart from that we were very pleased and will definitely be back.
