In the heart of the market town of Romsey The White Horse is just a few yards from Romsey Abbey. This 14th-century boutique hotel offers a brasserie and bright elegant rooms. The hotel's Georgian facade conceals a Grade II listed building with individually styled rooms. Some feature original period features while all have a flat-screen TV free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom. Cosy, homely stay

Liked: Location is excellent, right in the middle of town. Room was super cosy and quirky, beds comfy and clean. Would recommend
Disliked: Would have loved to have been able to open the windows more

Comfortable and Welcoming

Liked: Great atmosphere and staff friendliness.
Disliked: Our room was on two floors which added both pain and pleasure. A bit disjointed. Otherwise wonderful stay and our colleagues in the honeymoon suite were astounded.

Lovely old building on our...

Liked: Have always loved it, excellent location
Disliked: Having to be up early to go and feed the car park meter.The room was like an oven, so very little sleep Adam was provided but only moved the hot air around. All of the dining room tables were marked as reserved but nobody came to eat there. I assume the staff didn’t want to serve outdoors, when I asked later in the day if we could sit there for a drink we were allowed too, but we ate somewhere else when we were able to sit outdoors

Liked: Great location, nice clean room and excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Would like to have had a mirror on the dressing table to do my hair & make up. Otherwise nothing I really enjoyed my stay.

Calming, restful, welcoming. A gem...

Liked: Lovely place, always welcoming. Easy WiFi, great morning coffee in the room. Friendly staff. Helpful.
Disliked: This time the room was so small that I couldn’t quite walk round the foot of the bed but for a place so good in all other ways one can forgive pretty much anything!
