Liked: Breakfast and location good
Disliked: Bulb in bedroom not working . Hard to know if carpets were clean due to dark colour ; hole in the wall ; toilet flush inconsistent ; half rolls of toilet paper ; WiFi inconsistent ; curtains didn’t block out light ; ‘old fashioned ‘ 60’s room and fittings ; very steep stairs stairs to bedroom :

A super place to stay,...

Liked: The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bed/bedding was luxurious and everything from the water by the beds to the products in the bathroom were lovely. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and breakfast was amazing with the flexibility to swap to brunch if you were a late riser. Definitely include breakfast in your room rate as we worked out that would have cost us £30.
Disliked: No parking, but a price you pay for being in the heart of Amphill

A pleasant stay spoilt by...

Liked: Original features were great. A real sense of history. Such an old building.
Disliked: There was dust on all the open clothes shelves and Dust on the fire hearth. The bathroom needs a lick of paint to cover flaking parts. More hangers needed.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and accommodating.Food was very goodBedroom was of a large space, ensuite was nice and modern.
Disliked: Air conditioning was not great, had to have a mobile cooling unit put in the room.Stairs to room quite steep.

The stay was marred by...

Liked: Location. Food in restaurant was good.
Disliked: Room was tired, dirty, poorly maintained and very hot.

Busy location with a bar...

Liked: Nice options for breakfast including a variety of smoothies. Good size room and bathroom.
Disliked: We were right above the bar and because it was a nice evening it didn't quiet down until 12:30. Long night of listening to music and people talking. It taught me to be more cautious about hotels with bars.

Good

Liked: Toilet flush was inconsistent, sometimes it worked , other times it did not.
Disliked: Property was probably an old coaching house, dating back many years. Stairs were steep for Seniors and access to bedroom not straightforward. Shouldn’t really moan , the antiquity should relished by younger visitors
