Disliked: Unfortunately the breakfast let it down, being left on a tray outside the door. No choices possible.It's a pity because it's not what you would expect from a place like this.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful.Could have done with another chair and small table in the room.The bathroom was massive with the biggest bath you have ever seen.No parking on site but lots really close.We only are there once and it was good pub food.There was a rear entrance so you didn’t have to walk through the pub unless you wanted to.We will be back.

Disliked: The description of the property on booking.com was completely misleading. It said there was free parking. In fact, there was none! The White Hart does not have a car park! The description also said that the breakfast is exceptional and various reviews supported this statement and talked about cooked breakfasts. In fact,, this pub stopped providing hot, cooked breakfasts some months ago but your website was not updated. Instead, we were offered a croissant with jam plus a tub of porridge which would require hot water to be added. This was to be left on tray outside our door the previous night! We do not eat 'continental' breakfast so we declined. However, the tray was still left outside our door! In addition to this, the room was very cold and although a staff member turned on an aircon unit, it took about 10 hours for the room to heat up! We had also asked for a quiet room but were given a room on the main road which was busy with noisy traffic from 5.30 a.m. There was nowhere to hang clothes and no towel rail in the bathroom. To call this a de luxe double room was a joke! If we had known what to expect, we would never have booked and we feel very strongly that our money should be refunded.
