Superb

Liked: We loved the hotel. It would benefit from air con in the rooms.. also in main dining room I would have expected cloth napkins.
Disliked: There is an element of noise in the street. Nothing to do with the hotel I know. We were surprised at the amount of nightlife in Lincoln.

Comfy and prefect for what...

Liked: Location - perfect and cannot complain about anything. Kevin the Door man was delightful and really helped my parents when they needed to get in and out.
Disliked: Breakfast was tasty but a little cold and the black pudding was not cooked. (I think there was a rush of orders.

A fantastic newly redecorated and...

Liked: The room was fantastic, newly refurbished and extremely comfortable; the new small bar is back to where it used to be to the left of the front door which is lovely; the hotel has been beautifully and stylishly redecorated; the breakfast was excellent well cooked and pleasantly served. Although we were not in Lincoln long enough on this occasion we noted the care the hotel was taking in providing notes and information for Lincoln attractions many of which, the Cathedral and Castle are within view of the hotel.
Disliked: The only thing I mentioned to the manager and included on a previous commentary was that the bathroom which was very well designed to be used as an accessible WC/shower had no shelf space at either level for putting toilet bags, shaving equipment etc.
