Nice enough but hugely overpriced.

Liked: Room was clean and staff were friendly when you could find them. Quiet location.
Disliked: No towels or toilet roll when we arrived. Kettle but no cups, sugar but no tea or coffee or milk. Two beds but only 3 pillows. Tiny tv but no remote (not that we wanted to watch it).

Liked: N/a
Disliked: Very bad experience. Arrived to book in and place was closed all doors locked and lights out. After 2 attempt to ring a lady came and let us in. Said she was upstairs checking the room. Room was freezing cold very basic. Asked what time we wanted breakfast guess we were only guests. Went down at 9am. No sign of anyone , lights out door locked. No signs of any food being cooked as we passed kitchen window. We didn’t stay for the 2nd night and wouldn’t go back

Liked: Owners very good looked after well
Disliked: Rooms dated felt it was a lot of money for standard of room small no service to rooms

Disappointing

Liked: Very little. The staff were OK The shower was good
Disliked: The double. Room was too small with very little room on either side of the bed. The reading lamps could not be used as one was not working and the other was clearly faulty . The duvet cover had a small blood stain on one side. The heating was insufficient.The twin room was slightly better but had some similar problems

Rooms need to be refreshed...

Liked: Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Very old & tired room which smelt. Bedding & towels need a good wash. Bedside light broken, tv not working properly, toilet flush and toilet seat broken, shower cubicle not working properly.

Comfortable bed!

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: Tea facilities. No milk in room. And when we had breakfast first of all the milk was off and then when we got our second one it was served in chipped/stained mugs. A few new mugs would be nice.
