Liked: The hotel was nice overall. Staff was extremely friendly!
Disliked: Wasn’t that clean. The first room we received had a hole in the ceiling leaking water, the bed was soaked. The staff made it right though!

Liked: Great location. Very good breakfast buffet (complimentary with our stay). Personable staff.
Disliked: Booked this location specifically for the roof-top pool, but it was closed for renovation. No advance notice the pool was unavailable.

A large, impressive, comfortable and...

Liked: This was our second stay at the Westshore Grand. The location is excellent for the airport, restaurants and shops, bus into Tampa. The lounge and bar areas are very pleasant, and the lift with glass panelling, quite something.
Disliked: As long as everything goes smoothly everything is fine. However the emails received before one arrives, with promise of airport shuttle are very annoying when you arrive after a long flight from Europe to discover in no way can you get someone to answer a telephone to ask for the shuttle bus. Apparently the airport shuttle bus can‘t pick up where it should because of some road works or something… emails to the hotel the week earlier requesting a shuttle remained most probably unread. No one wants to know if you complain…there is no one to complain to, and the mails received after our stay when I mentioned this have remained unanswered and most probably unread.

Disliked: Made some errors with payments. Night staff not very helpful.
