Exceptional

Liked: We liked the ample parking and free, check in was quick and efficient. Room was very clean with lovely large comfortable bed.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like as we only stayed the one night. We will definitely stay again for one night or even longer if required.

Excellent staff and great value

Liked: We booked this as there was a private function for a 50th Birthday party.The bedroom was lovely and huge with plenty of space to get ready. The bed was also king sized and super comfortable. The hotel offers the most beautiful wood fired pizza. We had a pepperoni and it fed both of us and I was fabulous. The staff were really cheerful and friendly and I think they made the whole thing really good fun. I think this hotel have got everything spot on. I've paid a lot more and had poor experiences but I would certainly consider this hotel for future stays.

Disappointing

Liked: Location of hotel was nice large bed.
Disliked: Shower required updated bath surface very slippery walls had tea splashs by the bin and by the tea making facilities. All light shades and bulbs required dusting the heater required a good clean 😔 and the carpet was well worn. Considering that room 45 which we stayed in 10 days previous was very good. So we were very disappointed with room 20.

Clean.good value but disappointing breakfast...

Liked: The presentation of the cooked food at breakfast was poor. However, my eggs were very tasty..There was no jam or marmalade on the table, so we had to ask for it.
Disliked: The setup for breakfast was poor. There should have been cereals and fruit to help ourselves to. Also, preferably fresh tea or coffee delivered to each table as large pots go cold quickly.
