The Westin St. Francis San Francisco On Union Square

Our "go to" hotel for the city around Union Square. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff - we will return soon. Thanks!

Liked: Great hotel - great beds.
Disliked: Union strikers at neighboring hotel, chanting all day long.

Liked: Very convenient to downtown. Very comfortable bed and great accesible bathroom.

Liked: union square is centrally located. Unfortunately, the parking fee is exhorbitant - $100? wow. The remodel makes the facilities feel a little sad, especially not having a marquee restaurant like Bourbon Steak (or any other like) on the premises.
Disliked: Having to walk around the block into a sketchy entrance. Not having a marquee resto on site.

Liked: Amazing stay. First time visiting after being recommended this hotel by family. Staff were exceptional. The hotel looked amazing - very clean and the bed was very comfortable! Great location too.

Liked: Location is nice, rooms were nice, room service was good.
Disliked: This hotel charges a destination fee, so what you pay on Booking.com isn't the final price for the hotel. Pretty ridiculous. They also require you to register for their Mariott club to use WiFi for free, WiFi shouldn't require such hoops to be jumped through and should be free.

Liked: The room was very spacious but needed updating. The location is very good.The gym
Disliked: The breakfast buffet was expensive compared to the options offered.It was terrible that they charged $15 a day for Wi-Fi. I'd never seen that before.
