A thoroughly enjoyable hotel stay.
Liked: Right from check-in everything went very well. The hotel is ideally situated for people arriving in Halifax on VIA's "The Ocean" passenger train. We had two nights in a good room and enjoyed one dinner and two breakfasts in the hotel's lobby restaurant. The food was good and service was exceptional. The non-restaurant staff that we ran into in the lobby and hallways were equally friendly and ready to talk if we had any questions or needed anything.
Disliked: Nothing to suggest.

Okay, a lttle expensive for...
Liked: Accessible from train station and port.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn't up to par, pancakes not fully cooked with 2-3 raspberries and hardly enough sirup. Access to pool was convoluted and pool too shallow.

Lovely staff, great views, good...
Liked: Great location close to Harbour, staff were really friendly and helpful, view from the room
Disliked: Rooms are a bit small, and despite being a couple, they only supply one dressing gown and one bottle of water, one bar of soap etc - just seemed a bit mean at the price.
