Exceptional

The hotel was clean and...

Liked: I liked they allowed me to check in early because I was on the property at 8:00 AM setting up for my church 150th Anniversary semi formal gala. They allowed me to check in at 1:00.
Disliked: I had to get a total of 4 keys made for my room because they just stopped working after 1 use. Everytime I left the room I found myself having to go to the front desk for another key. After the 3rd time they put in a call for the engineer to check the door, I wasn't at the room when he came so I can confirm what was done because I was working my event. No one came to notify me that he checked it nor came to give me another key. It was almost midnight by the time we wrapped up the event, exhausted, tired and frustrated about the room key. I went to the front desk to get my 4th key. I left out around 10:00 am for coffee and when I returned, you guessed it, I couldn't get in my room. Thankfully my husband was still in the room. Also housekeeping (I assumed at the time) tried gaining access to my room at 9:22 am and check out wasn't until 12:00. They knocked on the door and didn't announce themselves "housekeeping" and before I could go check to see who it was they were entering the room. I immediately said someone was in here and they closed the door. I got up and looked out the peephole and confirmed it was housekeeping. Imagine how scared I was to hear someone gaining access to my room after all the key mishaps I was having.

Liked: The property was very nice, staff was great.
Disliked: We had to run the water in the shower for about 3 minutes to get hot enough to take a shower. The A/C was very hard to regulate. We had to set it at 85 to get the thermostat to read 79 and it was still cold in our room.
