A curved wall of glass distinguishes the 31-story Westin Grand Vancouver one of the city's most popular hotels which just completed a refreshing update. Floor-to-ceiling windows make all 206 non-smoking suites light and bright. Desks with executive chairs are on hand for when you have to work while cable TVs are there for when you need to relax. After a workout with the free weights cardio machines and strength-training equipment in the glass-walled fitness room you can head to the rooftop hot tub and heated swimming pool. A steam room and sauna make you feel pampered along with in-room spa services. Comfort food 'with a twist' is the specialty of the casual restaurant and bar on-site. Valet parking is available for an extra charge. NOTE: The pool will be closed for a private event on August 24; guests will have access to a public pool during this time. Rogers Arena home of the Canucks and BC Place Stadium home of the Lions are both within walking distance of the hotel. There are plenty of shopping options within a few blocks including the Pacific Centre Mall. The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is six minutes away and Vancouver International Airport is a 20-minute drive.

Liked: The check-in was really fast and the staff member named Daisy made me feel super welcome. Also they left you alone unless you needed something.
Disliked: They don't have a toothbrush/ toothpaste in the washroom in case you forgot yours. The Hampton has these items.

Comfortable & clean. Very pleasant...

Liked: Close to public transport & city centre
Disliked: We had 2 stays before & after a ski trip. The 2nd stay was more expensive though the room was not as good as the first. Only view of a brick wall
