The Westin Edmonton

I guess I should have read the fine print. Extra charge for parking - well OK. Extra charge for WiFi too? Really? And extra charge for a local call? Wow. Not happy. Then the final straw was no hot water to shower in the morning. But they were nice enough to not charge us for the local call we had made and decided to not charge us for parking, So that we didn't have a poor experience.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: No hot water.

Spacious, modern hotel with good...

Liked: Hotel, location, decor and facilities very nice. Plenty of space in the room and a good night's sleep.
Disliked: We booked for four persons and four breakfasts with Booking.com. At the hotel, breakfast staff said (and at first couldn't appreciate how ridiculous it sounded) that we had booked for four persons with one breakfast. It was straightened out and quite promptly, but was an unwanted hassle and interruption to our first morning. However, every member of staff was polite and friendly, so we would stay here again.

Liked: Clean, bright and comfortable. Excellent check-in staff. Convenient downtown location close to many things.
Disliked: It was all good!

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were amazing
Disliked: We were there from Monday to Friday and didn’t have room cleaned or garbage emptied the entire time. Even spoke to staff and still nothing. High priced rooms and no maid service for the entire stay.
