I guess I should have read the fine print. Extra charge for parking - well OK. Extra charge for WiFi too? Really? And extra charge for a local call? Wow. Not happy. Then the final straw was no hot water to shower in the morning. But they were nice enough to not charge us for the local call we had made and decided to not charge us for parking, So that we didn't have a poor experience.
Disliked: No hot water.

Liked: Amazing staff and wonderful small luxuries (lavender roller by the bed, water, upgrade) made my stay absolutely fantastic! I would book here again over many downtown hotels
Disliked: Parking cost

Liked: Location, cleanliness of room, and friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Disliked: Overall everything was great. My room was a little tired - the carpet needed fixing as it had a little bump running along the length of the room and the drawers in the TV stand kept opening (could easily be fixed by leveling the stand). But those were small things and I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

A comfortable nest :)
Liked: Well. Aren't you gorgeous. I got the bus to Edmonton from Calgary so I was tired and stiff and, after a little walk from the bus terminal to the hotel through some -25 weather (brrrrr), the warmth and welcome of the Westin was greatly appreciated. The reception staff were efficient and welcoming. Within minutes I was up in my room, de-frosting in the shower and watching hockey in my robe on the bed. That's a good time :) the room was spacious and clean. The bed had one million pillows and cushions and felt so much like lying in a fluffy nest that I fell asleep watching the TV more than once. The hotel is very close to the river trail for nice scenic hikes and not far from Rogers Place for hockey watching (the reason I was there). The pool was nice and the selection of gym equipment varied and clean. A great location for exploring. I had room service the first night I arrived (see above re: very cold outside weather) - just delicious food and quick service.
Disliked: I was sad that the sauna was not open but honestly, that's my only nitpick.
