The hotel was so nice. The bellboys were helpful and considerate. I would stay here over and over again!

The Westin Cleveland was awesome! Celebrated our 10th Anniversary and were treated to some extras including a nice bottle of wine and a fruit basket. Super friendly staff that helped us in getting around downtown. Would definitely stay there again!

Disliked: Extremely disappointed upon check-in. The room was pre-paid and the clerk asked for a card to pay for “incidentals.” I provided the same card I used to pre-pay for the room from Huntington Bank. The clerk told me that their system was having difficulties with Huntington cards. I carry, and have not carried any other credit/debit card for nearly 30 years. The clerk told me she could not check me in without another card. She further told me that I should call a friend or a family member to use their card!!I told her I was not going to call someone to “borrow” their credit card. I had planned this “staycation,” for quite some time. I don’t understand how a major brand hotel could not accept a major credit/debit card!We have numerous options when it comes to places to stay in downtown Cleveland. The one option we will not exercise in Cleveland, or another city, will be the Westin brand.

Liked: The Westin Downtown Cleveland is a perfect location downtown. Close to both stadiums for the Guardians, the Browns, and right around the corner from the Huntington Convention Center. The staff was amazing, very friendly, from check-in, to the bellman greeting as you come and go, the security staff, the attendants for the garage, and even the restaurant staff. Traveling all the way from the west coast the staff definitely made it feel like a home away from home, they are great people, especially the bellman"Don't let nobody take that J out your Joy today!" loved his energyThe room I was in was a 1 King Lake View on the 21st floor. The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were one of the best combos in a hotel I've experienced. The bathroom was very nice, with a nice walk in shower, and great lighting. The view was amazing being able to catch the sunset on the water. I highly recommend it!
Disliked: The only slightly negative situation was the parking garage. The hotel was fully booked, and many were in town for an event at the convention center. So once parking filled up it was very slim picking on parking spots. Nothing too serious, just a smaller garage.
