Nice room for the rate. Great location to a lot of venues. No microwave or refrigerator in room, but if you ask at the time of check in, they will bring it for you. Love their soap and shampoo.

Liked: Staff was friendly and engaging.
Disliked: None.

Stayed another night in Chicago, but at a different hotel where I was treated my age and felt very welcomed! I know this hotel is right across the House of Blues, but I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Didn't realize it was strictly a business hotel - felt out of place and it didn't help when one of the employees kept an eye on me. From the courtyard to the elevator like I was a hoodlum - wasn't very welcoming in that point.

Disliked: When we checked in and went up on the 4th floor the hallway and our room smelled horrible and the smell lingers. The bathroom is very out dated with a very very low old toilet. When I turned on the shower brown water came out.Another thing I didn't care for is we charged our breakfast to our credit card but they charged more than our actual bill was. I complained to their service desk person and he stated that they do that for any incidentals. However they had already charged our card for over 200.00 for incidentals. In regards to customer service they did not have enough staff at the check in desk and it was a long wait. The Westin In Chicago is not high class at all although they charge you a great deal to stay a night. We were there for 2 days and they charged over 800.00. I would not recommend anyone to stay here . It is more a 2 star hotel. That's my opinion.Rooms2.0Service2.0Location5.0
