Modern and welcoming, The West End brings relaxed comfort to Tower Grove, just 5 miles from the iconic St. Louis Gateway Arch. With a friendly vibe, thoughtful amenities, and easy access to the city’s best music venues, it's a fantastic home base for concert-goers.

Why Concert-goers love it

The West End is a quick ride to downtown St. Louis, putting you close to major venues without the downtown hustle. After a big show, unwind in the quiet Tower Grove neighborhood. Plus, with a late check-in time of 3:00 PM and easy access to rideshares and public transportation, getting in and out is a breeze.

It has a lot of...

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: Staff wasn’t on premises all night. Hot tub was DISGUSTING. Lobby smelled horrible of curry and other cooking spices. Shower head leaked, and caused water to go EVERYWHERE, including down the wall and soaked the carpet in the room.

Mixed feelings

Liked: The usual things that can be expected. It was quiet enough. The water was always warm. The microwave worked well, as the aircon. The kitchen at the groundfloor is spacious and friendly looking. The personnel at the front desk was friendly - if they were there. There is an excellent supermarket nearby - Schnucks. And a Walgreens. The walk to the Metrolink station Cortex (10-15 mins) is easy and feels safe.
Disliked: Of 6 nights my room was cleaned only once - and I had to ask for it! The second night the digital code for my room didn‘t work anymore and the nightshift could not fix it. So they gave me a pass key - that works for all rooms. Pragmatic solution, but imagine! Should - The check in procedure demanded from me, after I had fully completed the booking procedures of booking, to go to the separate hotel page and enter my credit card details again and it looked as if they try to make me pay the hotel prize a 2nd time. That was not the case, but the instructions were a mess. The hotel was full of guests where you ask yourself how they are able to pay 120$ per night.

Passable

Disliked: The room was missing outlet covers. There was no hot water. Staff could not explain to us why or when it would be fixed. They were doing some kind of construction at 5am.
