Liked: Great location just a short distance walk down to the beach and into town. Sea-view rooms wonderful. Breakfast was included and is very good. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom
Disliked: Communicating with staff is a hit and miss - didn't ever get anyone on the phone when I needed them

Liked: The breakfast menu was fantastic.Eating out on the balcony was really nice with good views.The food was fresh and delicious.The bed was clean and comfortable and very big Which was fantastic.The staff were really helpful and polite and professional.We had a really nice time.
Disliked: Lack of parking. But I do understand why.

Very relaxing and great value...

Liked: Quirky and different, fabulous view from balcony, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, coffee machine and kettle provided. Breakfast was very good,, nice little restaurant space, outdoor veranda comfortable, also with a great view. Definitely want to come back and try out the deluxe or superior rooms.
Disliked: Shame there were no bar meals as such through the day or a restaurant menu at night.

Liked: Nice bar area with superb sea view terrace. Excellent breakfast. Very relaxing.
Disliked: Bathroom tiny and cramped. Shower tiny and just a trickle. Bathroom on mezzanine floor with steps up that were too small, and hard to use. Staffing levels at weekend clearly inadequate. Called 3 times for bar service but gave up. Did get a free beer. Draught lager was £5.50 a pint but £8 for 2 halves. Why ? And IOW must get the crowd reopened at least for pedestrians.

Liked: Amazing deluxe room with Wraparound balcony to great sea views.Luxury big bath, big enough for 2, bedroom also with seaview! Plus ensuite shower.Great value booking.Receptionist was very helpful and she was also our waitress at breakfast who explained the menu price options really well.The hotel is in a super part of Ventnor with a nice private, but steep shortcut to the beach. The road was part of a landslip closure but info provided through Booking.com very helpful.
Disliked: Receptionist was young and helpful but could have briefed us better on arrival about Ventnor Fringe info, perhaps stock programmes ?, as well as the shortcut to beach and the unique features of the hotel. But this isn't a criticism!Bed was a bit too soft for me but that's just me !

Fantastic location, ,great staff

Liked: Excellent price for the room.Staff happy for us to leave our bags at the hotel while we went for a walk before heading home.
Disliked: Last time we stayed breakfast was included. Now it costs extra and has to be booked by the night before
