Disliked: They are very unresponsive. I contacted the facility and asked for a simple invoice for my company. I haven't received a response for 4 days. I've sent messages numerous times.

Exceptional building, but confused service...

Liked: Phenomenal property, grand entrance and lobby and spacious studio room. Very quiet, comfortable beds, at times there was a pianist playing in the lobby.
Disliked: While the building was exceptional, the experience lacked the thoughtfulness one might expect from a hotel in this category. There was one robe, pair of slippers and wine glass in a room booked for two. There was great confusion over where to find the room service menu - the in-room IPad some staff were referring us to did not exist, and several staff went out of their way trying to help but not all had the right information available. The value-for-money equation did not stack up on food and drink - the freshness of the breakfast buffet was sub par at €46 per person and at €72, the mark up on our (nice but average) bottle of wine was significant. Accessibility is not ideal - I understand that it is a listed building but could have a clearly outlined accessible path from street level to reception as there are many stairs and limited handrails. The cleanliness was fine but lacking some attention to detail, with the previous guests shopping wrappers / receipt still in one of the wardrobes and prime view of a lot of pigeon poo when opening the room window.
