Beautiful area to visit welcoming...

Liked: All food was delicious and service top notch all staff delightful and helpful room had beautiful view over the South Downs.
Disliked: Dogs in the restaurant they should have their own area as son owners let their dogs wander around the restaurant ugh!!Badly stained carpet in room but understand the rooms are being refurbished in a couple of months.

Disliked: Toilets smelly, carpet in rooms stained and breakfast was very poor on 2nd morning.

Overpriced Saturday booking, but reasonable...

Liked: Stunning views at back, large beds.
Disliked: This was a very expensive option - but as there is limited choice then we appreciate the market is theirs. But the price did not match the quality, service or location. Especially when a Sunday booking demonstrates the true value compared to a Saturday booking…. Lovely views out back, busy and loud A road at front. The rooms are triple glazed. Rooms are well equipped and reasonably comfortable, with large beds. Breakfast was lacking. Reasonable quality food but portions on the small side. For 1 night you’ll be fine.

Liked: Its location with the fantastic views. Even thought the main road is busy and noise at times the atmosphere and scenic views blend into the background. The buildings are looked after along with the lovely hanging baskets making it feel home from home.
Disliked: The decor in our No 8 room has become after much use tired. But we were told in October there’s to be going to be a reverb. Which goes to show how well the management are working looking the property and business.
