Beautiful setting for a wedding

Liked: I stayed for one night as my friends were getting married at the venue. The room had everything that I needed.
Disliked: Everything was good.

Terrible

Liked: I try to see the best in everything but having been here before i was shocked. So my review is not biased i had a comparrison with a time beforeSpa was great n clean but again very unhelpful staff. At least when we asked to be changed from dingy smelly dump basement rooms, they gave us upper better rooms. Wonder why in the fast place the gave us the horrible rooms Beds ok location greatSomeone needs to train staff bring back the place to where it was 2yrs ago . Front desk needs friendly knowledgeable staff. Our friend from America got shocked at how unfriendly staff were the entire disorganisation . We tried to say it was better nope she was dissapointented
Disliked: Ok but it was very disorganised. Food was scattered that meant you spent tine looking where next bite is.staff especially one woman was so abrupt n grumpy . We even didnt know she was working there. Outrightly rude. Sausages were half cooked we asked for warm milk took ages to get. Having been there before standards have gone really down . We were placed 2 floors down even though they had better rooms. Guess we didnt look.line we deserved better rooms. The rooms were smelly dark n seems smokers were murky floors n beds that looked like someone had slept on it n no one bothered to change. Smell was overwhelming n with health issue it had an instant effect on me. It was such a long walk downwards no.lifts n really distressing. Really a disapointment. Parking was a big issue really disorganised setting shame because 2 yrs ago it was really organised . Then it had really helpful staff but this time even some staff didnt know anything about the place. Again customer service was below standard.

Ideal for a special occasion...

Liked: Location and a beautiful building set in the Warwickshire countryside. Hotel oozes with class and high standards.
Disliked: Restaurant air conditioning was a little too cold.

Great location, basic rooms but...

Liked: The property itself was beautiful. The location and surrounding excellent!! Close to Stratford. A good selection of glasses in the apartment.Spa facilities were brilliant!
Disliked: It was boiling inside. The heat could not escape from upstairs. The rooms were basic. The pool was unavailable for a while.

Rooms are far too expensive...

Liked: I liked the look of the building and its history. I’ve been before when it was a beautiful stay so we came back 2 years later for my partners birthday.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the rooms. If you’re charging £300+ for a standard room, then I expect it to be fully clean and no dust or cobwebs!

Disliked: There wasn't anything not to likeAC would have been a bonus and maybe water and fridge in rooms
