Lovely hotel in a handy...

Liked: The property was beautiful although decoration was a little tired. The food was very good quality. The spa facilities were an added bonus although the water station wasn’t topped up
Disliked: Unfortunately our stay coincided with 2 golf groups and the gentleman kept us awake sitting outside our ground floor bedroom window til the early hours, after a chat with reception they were reluctantly moved further away. The ladies group were rude and entitled. There was also a wedding that were no problem.

Liked: The golf. The food. The staff. Gorgeous building & great facilities. Everything was great & I couldn't take advantage of it all.
Disliked: That I wasn't staying longer! I will be back.

Silver anniversary treat.

Liked: We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 26th of July. It's a beautiful stunning hotel. We stayed in the Superior Room with a Four Poster Bed, in Room 8, the bedroom and bathroom was perfect. The food was delicious, we had a ribeye steak, and seabass. The spa was lovely, we enjoyed the swimming pool and the steam room. The grounds and flowers were beautiful and well kept. Would highly recommend to everyone and definitely come back again.

Liked: Great hotel, fab location. Very traditional with stunning views. Good restaurant food and wine choice. Spa facilities are excellent.
Disliked: Rooms very hot! Fan supplied in room was poor. No bottled water in rooms. Bathroom was unbearably hot. TV difficult to navigate.
