Liked: Breakfast good, decor & building a little tired, could do with a little refurb but still enjoyed it & would def stay again, looked out onto river which was really lovely
Disliked: Decor a bit tired , would have liked a bigger bed

Lovely relaxing stay so close...

Liked: The quirkiness of the place, lovely setting nice walk by river and accessible by boat and road. Lovely balcony and minimal noise, even though bar and beer garden in close proximity. Food was lovely. Seemed popular. Room was amazing. View from balcony exceptional bonus.
Disliked: Long drive and no way to cross the river unless you own boat or take long drive all the way round. Couldn't see TV over end of bed! Not that we watched much TV.

Liked: Lovely, friendly and cosy atmosphere, plus a stunning location. It has an individuality that is refreshingly welcome, compared to the usual 'chain' hotels.Staff were exceptionally helpful and I was very comfortable in my room.Breakfast was truly outstanding and is included in the price.I'll be back!
Disliked: If I was being particularly critical, the stairway leading up to the guest rooms could do with a freshen up. But, this is being very 'picky' and in no way took away from the pleasure of my stay.
