Very good

Liked: Very clean. Comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely. Had 2 evenings meals which were excellent and good value. Great location with walks along the tow path
Disliked: Some areas were a bit tired and need some tlc. Garden needed some maintenance

Liked: Beautiful traditional pub/hotel, set right on the river with ample outdoor seating and the towpath to have a pre or post-dinner walk. Very conveniently placed to visit Brooklands Museum and Hampton Court Palace. We booked an extra large double bedded room and were really impressed to find it was a 4- poster - and very comfortable it was, too! Complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee (decaff as well!), hot chocolate and small glass bottles of still and sparkling water were provided. There was also a floor standing fan.The roomy bathroom with bath/shower came with complimentary toiletries. The two doors opened up onto a balcony overlooking the outdoor seating and river and it was lovely to wake up, look out the door and see swans and geese swimming passed.Breakfast was included and you could have a full English (vegetarians also catered for), cereal and toast, tea and coffee. We had our evening meal there too - the fish & chips and vegetarian lasagne were delicious. Hubby was also extremely impressed with the beer.
Disliked: Only a very small thing - there wasn’t a shower mat in the bath which made taking a shower feel a bit dangerous! I had to put the bathmat inside the bath. Otherwise, the visit was faultless.

Disliked: Hotel outside and in looked in need of some tlcno menu for breakfast so didnt really know what there was, only ordered orange juice because other guests had it and then asked for apple juice too. No fruit at breakfast, just cereal, full english and toastHad evening meals twice, lasagne was very crispy on top and pie burnt, for price and where it was expected better

Liked: Had a good stay at Weir Hotel - staff were superb - cooked breakfast was very good. Rooms was small but clean.
Disliked: The pub menu disappointed but choice of drinks and atmosphere was good.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful
Disliked: The room we were in was so hot. There was a small fan which hardly made any difference. The bathroom window didn't open at all. The aerial socket for the television was hanging off the wall. Breakfast was very disappointing, microwaved bacon, strange tasting scrambled egg, and it was cold. Overall, the bedrooms need a bit of a makeover!
