Good location.

Liked: The hotel itself is fine. I'm just a bit bitter about having such slow wifi it was practically nonexistent. And I had two cold showers for no apparent reason whatsoever. When I got there the Crowdstrike thing meant that I almost couldn't get checked in and for the first two days of my stay I had no room keys, having to rely on security to let me in to my room each time.
Disliked: The intermittent cold showers. The almost nonexistent wifi. The flickering light bulb in the room. The room occupancy-dimmer light switches were quite annoying.

Underwhelmed for what you call...

Disliked: Furnishings not to Tapestry standard. Kitchen/coffee counter service a joke. Charging for breakfast and not being staffed to serve your guests is robbery.

I like the location and...

Liked: I really liked the location of the hotel (being right across the street from 7-11 and around a lot of food choices and other shopping was great. Also close enough to convention center.
Disliked: No closet.No mini fridge (that was the biggest thing — though fortunately for this trio since I drove, I had a cooler.No microwave.Also hot water was inconsistent (but that is always dependent on how many rooms are showering at same time I guess)

Over priced

Disliked: The rooms were clean which but very small and lacked any basic amenities expected in a hotel charging such over the top room rates. No refrigerator, no tea/coffee making no space for working. The internet was so slow as to be virtually unusable, even for emails. There is no room for clothes storage - under bed draws were unopenable.The hotel itself has few amenities - no ATM, no proper restaurant open at decent hours. For $400+ per night it is a complete rip off. Would not dream of staying there again.

Will not stay there ever...

Liked: location was good as I was attending a big conference at the LA convention center.
Disliked: I had booked a King room and they told me that they did not have a King room so they wanted to put me in a Quad room ( 2 bunkbeds). After I refused to be in a quad room, they gave me their "last room available":I was placed in a room with windows tinted because of the terrible environment outside. The room looked like a cellar with tall concrete posts that you typically find in a warehouse. There was no closet in the room. No windows to look out from other than the 2 small fully tinted windows.This room should NOT be rented out to guests. maybe use it for staff but not for guests.
