Ideally situated to explore the natural beauty of the Trossachs National Park this charming hotel is set in Callendar at the 'Gateway to the Highlands'. Offering comfortable rooms with private bathrooms equipped with all facilities needed for a relaxing stay the Waverley Hotel also features a bar. A member of CAMRA and winner of the Forth Valley Pub of the Year 2006 the bar is a favorite among locals and serves cask ales lagers and malt whiskeys. Each evening following a long day of exploring the wonderful surroundings you can unwind in the friendly atmosphere of the Waverley to enjoy a freshly prepared meal. Excellent hotel in the centre...

Liked: The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a family room which was perfect for a stay with kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location excellent in the centre of the town.

Nicely located historic building.

Liked: Nicely located in the middle of the village with some shops around (incl. bakery), short walk to river with nice playground. Old building, but overall clean. Great food for diner.
Disliked: Breakfast very Scottish and meat-centric, a bit of toast would be nice. But overall good quality!

Liked: For our needs the place was perfect. Only one night but pleasant, pub connected to the hotel where we ate very well. Perfect Scottish breakfast!
Disliked: Nothing, the place was perfect for us.
