Liked: Comfy beds. Warm room. Handy location. Nice staff. Fun pub!
Disliked: Only the shower! Fixed at waist level so you have to hold it up. Also dripping sink tap. No big problem though.

Liked: Location great next to train station
Disliked: Like all UK hotels the heat goes off around 10 pm and stays off until 7 am. Too cold for me. I had to ask for an electric heater.

Disliked: Worst experience of hospitality I?ve ever had anywhere in the world. Wait around forever until someone finally realises there?s someone waiting to get checked in. Room hadn?t been cleaned, TV didn?t work, there is no heating in the room, you probably get a cleaner toilet in prison, bin was overflowing including condom wrappers, not to mention the key they gave me didn?t work so I was locked out at half 2 in the morning and the owner had to let me in. Definitely would not stay here again.

Liked: the staff were pleasant
Disliked: unfortunately, the room was unclean (stained duvets and pillows), and freezing cold, the toilet did not flush properly and certainly someone who had stayed previously left us to flush for them, two lightbulbs were missing so we had only lights at the front and back of the 'apartment' ( a serries of interconnected rooms in the attic), there was a bit of toilet paper, but no soap and no towel. We found the beds were unfortunately not clean, which meant we slept in our clothes with coats (it was too cold that night). There was a DJ night downstairs for a charity event, which made the night rather noisy, but that can happen, so that aspect didn't bother us too much. staff were nice but the room just wasn't value for the price and level of cleaniness which didn't meet basics. We couldn't find anyone at reception at 8.45am, so resorted to leave the room key inside the door, as we didn't want to leave it in the lobby.

Please avoid avoid avoid.. Inconsiderate...
Liked: Location was next to the train station and central (only reason we chose it). Check in staff was friendly and understanding towards the issues we experienced. Hope there were more to say...
Disliked: - Reception never answered calls before check-in. Stairs to rooms were really steep and not access friendly. - Room was deeply unpleasant: no heating, toilet flush did not work, pillow and towels were stained, door lock didn't work (opened without a key during check-in), light didn't work so room was super dim, felt and looked like a health and fire hazard (state of cleanliness was unacceptable, especially when we were traveling with children). Towels, toiletries and the wifi password were only given after further requests. - Left after seeing the state of our room despite it was already midnight as reception said they were fully booked and nothing much can be done. - Pictures shown online were completely different compared to what we saw in reality - highly unrecommended for anyone to stay here.
