The Waverly

Liked: The suite we stayed in was quiet, and very large. The location was great, and in the room was mostly everything we needed, including a 3 seater recliner sofa and bottled water.
Disliked: Fridge was not clean, the tv wasn't a smart tv, no WiFi and despite having a gorgeous jacuzzi bath we were unable to use it as they have plumbing issues.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was great The staff were helpful and friendlyFree parking was a bonus
Disliked: The room was very small, the bathroom door wouldn't close as It caught the wardrobe, the wardrobe wouldn't open properly because the vanity table was in front of it.

Liked: Room very clean Beds deceptive didnt look much but where comfy and cosy Tea coffee and water in room
Disliked: Parking was a nightmare Room 109 which even though was heated was still very cold

Horrendous

Liked: The staff were ok
Disliked: The location was in a very rough area. As a currently pregnant woman travellling on her own for work I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I didn’t finish my work until late so when I got to finally go and get some rest, there was no where to park at all!! So it took me around 30mins to find somewhere to put my car. I needed up having to park on double yellow lines, which i was told was ok until around 8am in the morning. My TV in my room did not work at all!! My bed was very uncomfortable. Due to feeling unsafe, I ended up checking out at around 4.30am and travelled back 4 hours home just to get back to my own bed. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I travel a lot for work. Highly unsatisfied!

Exceptional

Liked: Polite, friendly and helpful staff on reception throughout, ordered taxis for me when needed which arrived very promptly, room very spacious and clean

Great location, poor facilities

Disliked: Quite grubby, worn, missing a light bulb and the floor was caving in our room. No breakfast offered but on our 3rd night they opened the restaurant and bar for certain guests? But we were told no when we asked. Weird smell too
