Disliked: the location was amazing but unfortunately when you charge a customer for a great stay, you expect to have comfort and being able to sleep in. If you notify of work being started at 6.00am we would not of stayed

Disliked: Noise from nearby construction site is very load and annoying. The work starts 6am or earlier in the morning!!! I asked for refund of the booking when I heard about the construction but got declined by the property admin before arrival.

Liked: The size of the room was good
Disliked: When making the booking on Booking.comThere was no mention of the 57 floor building getting built next door and the work/noise starting at 5.30amAnd there was no mention of the work going on at the main pool and spa on level 4so this was not able to be used

Best hotel I’ve stayed at...

Liked: I absolutely loved my stay at the Wave Resort. The facilities were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was second to none. Will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

A brilliant place whose views...

Liked: We stay at Wave Apartments every year. They have great serviced apartments with everything you need including a corkscrew! The location is fantastic, right near some excellent restaurants which are very easy walking distance. Parking is convenient underneath the building and the place feels secure with keycard access to the building, lift and rooms. We treated ourselves with the three-bedroom sub penthouse this year and they were happy to switch one of the twin rooms to a king for the MIL for a small fee.
Disliked: Unfortunately, two towers (40 and 58 storey) are being built between the 34 storey Wave Apartments and the ocean. This will block the wonderful views and therefore we will not be staying at Wave again. It's crazy that this has been allowed to replace a smaller building. During our stay, this building was going on next door commencing at 6.30am including Saturday but Wave let us know that this would be occurring and wasn't a problem for us. The pool on the 4th floor (the largest pool) was being renovated and therefore not in use.

Liked: Room size, view and kitchen
Disliked: Majority of the facilities were closed. Understandably for renovations, though would have been nice to know prior to booking as they were a key factor in booking.
