good location

Liked: The best is the location just right at the shore and small harbour and park areas, overlooking the sea. Great for evening strolls or if you want to go running. Moreover in walking distance to diverse restaurants, shops and GO station to Toronto or the other direction to Niagara. The appartment has a very good layout, sofa and is open and light with huge window to the balcony.
Disliked: I'd say, the hotel has seen better days. Some furniture, walls or equipment would need a fresh up, dishwasher not working etc. There is almost no dishes in the kitchen. You can ask, and staff is always helpful, but still limited. Seems no one really cooks there ;). The balcony is not equipped at all and full of "leftovers" from the birds, not been cleaned during the stay and plenty dead mosquito in the corners inside. So overall there is no issue with cleanliness and fine to stay, but it's not the 100% you expect.

Very nice accommodation and wonderful...

Liked: Lovely view of the lake and very nice to be able to sit out on the balcony to enjoy it.
Disliked: The restaurant wasn't open, but looked like it could be really nice.

Good location but this hotel...

Liked: Nice location. Near the marina and good restaurants.
Disliked: Very worn down. My first room sid not have a working shower. Despite advertising a restaurant it was permanently closed. No gym. It was a converted hotel room but was filthy and half of the equipment didn’t work. Actually had an “out of service” sign on the door.

Stayed here for a few...

Liked: I only enjoyed the location and the view from the balcony. The view of the yachts and boats was beautiful.
Disliked: The hotel is in urgent need of renovation or at least replacement of the furniture, which is extremely old. The room had an unpleasant, stale smell, and even the cabinet under the bathroom sink was rotting. The bad odor started right from the hallway upon arriving on the floor. The carpet in the living room was in terrible condition — very old, dirty, and smelly — to the point where I felt uncomfortable walking on it or even sitting on the furniture. The kitchen and fridge were also very dated, although functional. For the same price, we stayed in a much higher standard hotel just a few days later, so I believe the price for this property is unreasonably high given its poor condition.

Spacious apartment close to restaurants...

Liked: We stayed in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed for our son. There was also a washing machine in our apartment, which was very convenient. The hotel is located near a train station with direct connections to downtown Toronto. There are many restaurants nearby, and the harbor view was beautiful. Paid parking was available right next to the hotel.
Disliked: We had to make our son's bed ourselves. I always find this strange in a hotel, but it's happened to us before. Maybe it's common practice? The lady who brought the bedding hadn't brought any pillows for the bed, and there weren't any either. Only the bedding. She said she would bring them the next day, but we needed them right away for the night. After insisting, she brought one for us anyway. We'd put a sign on the door saying we didn't want anyone in the apartment, but they went in anyway. When we booked our stay, there were still pictures of a restaurant. But that restaurant no longer exists. The pictures have since disappeared, too. I thought that was a shame. So, no breakfast. We couldn't really use the kitchen in our unit. There were no pans or a kettle in the unit. All the available dishes were still in the dishwasher.

Disappointing experience overall. Poor service,...

Liked: The location was convenient, and the room size was comfortable. Having a kitchenette was helpful, even though it lacked cooking equipment.
Disliked: Despite staying over 3 weeks, the service was consistently lacking. One night we were locked out of our room and there was no one at reception for over 15 minutes. When the receptionist returned from outside, she gave conflicting excuses, was dismissive, and claimed our key wasn’t for the room — without offering any apology. The room wasn’t well cleaned (dusty baseboards, dirty fridge), and the toilet ran continuously throughout the stay without being fixed. I had to request basic things like vacuuming and sheet changes. There was no thank you or acknowledgment at checkout. The hotel calls itself boutique, but the experience didn’t reflect that — especially for the price.
