Liked: Staff were extremely helpful and kind, well looked after. Brought fan for us when air conditioning wasn't working
Disliked: Unfortunately the air conditioning In our room wasn't working, but they did bring in a fan as soon as we asked so cannot fault really

Friendly, comfortable, convenient stopover.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well laid out with all the facilities we required. The furnishings were modern, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order; this meant you had to wait a little time, but it was worth it as it was cooked perfectly. The location, right on the river, is unique and very pretty. We were very pleased we chose this hotel for an overnight stop.
Disliked: Sadly the external parts of the building are badly in need of cosmetic repair. They do not match the good standard of the internal decoration.

Liked: Room looked a little tired. The mill stream was just outside the window. The water is fast flowing and quite noisy so we had to keep the window closed and there was no aircon.
Disliked: Too noisy with window open.
