The Washington is a Grade 2 Listed building less than a mile from Bristol city center and is a 3-minute walk from Clifton Suspension Bridge Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Temple Meads Station is 2 miles away and the University of Bristol is just 984 feet away. All rooms feature complimentary tea coffee fresh fruit and biscuits. The property also offers a full English and continental breakfast included in the room rate. We are currently serving continental breakfast only on Mondays and Tuesdays. Limited secure parking is available on a first-come first-served basis at an additional charge of £9 per night.

Liked: Very clean room, as always.Warm bed, comfy, excellent duvet, and TV well positioned.Nice touch with the bowl of fruit.
Disliked: IMPOSSIBLE, literally, to plug in the kettle on the assigned desk top.The plug socket LITERALLY 1/8th of an inch off the desk top lower level. The kettle plug has an inch thick portion at the cable at the point attached to the plug itself. Impossible to bend, and as the plug socket literally at same level, (room 20), I had to move all the coffee, tea, sugar, etc, plus the kettle, across to a very smiall bed side table in order to plug it in. This meant I had to keep unplugging my phone charger if I wanted to have a hot drink.
