The Walper Hotel part of JdV by Hyatt

The young men at the front desk, who greeted me, were fabulous, professional but fun. They were interested in the reason for my stay, felt like family. The room was so clean and comfortable, very quiet. I will return, it was such a great part of my trip.

Liked: From the moment I was greeted to the time I left I felt like I was the most important guest in this hotel. Everyone was kind and considerate; the room exactly what I needed. Clean, no nasty smells, felt like being at home. The parking garage was convenient, I could leave my car parked for the duration of my stay.
Disliked: That I cannot afford to live here. It was all great!

Parking is an issue - don't bring your big trucks as you will not get into the garage Parking. Thank goodness we brought our car. For the price of the room, they should cover our Parking fee.

Liked: Location to the center of the square, for the concert. Walking distance.
Disliked: Parking - had to pay $20 and change for parking across the road. Not easy to unload your items.

Exceptional

Overall it was good.

Liked: Comfortable bed, clean
Disliked: You couldn't change the thermostat. I wanted it to be cooler in my room but I was able to make that happen.

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Great blend of the original charm with an updated feel. Very friendly staff, we ended up getting a tour of the 2nd floor while they prepared for an upcoming wedding.

Liked: Cute hotel, giant room. Very comfortable beds. Great location. The staff was attentive.
Disliked: Parking was across the street, if you had a lot of luggage, it could be a haul getting it to the hotel. Also, once you're across the street, you had to step up on the curb, and up a step (or 2 I can't remember) to get into the hotel. On the floor we were on there were 2 steps to get to our room. We did not have any issues with that, but if you have mobility issues, you will want to ask if there is an easier way to get in and out especially with luggage.

Very nice boutique hotel in...

Liked: The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable and served my needs well during my business trip. I was jet lagged and appreciated the peace and quiet so I could get to bed early. The WiFi was excellent.
Disliked: There were no major issues during my stay and I would be happy to stay here again. A hot tub or pool would have been nice.
