This is a beautiful hotel near the beach. I love it! The mini fridge and microwave were a plus. I loved everything about my stay, aside from the fact that I was charged twice for the room. Hoping that's just some sort of extra thing they do to hold the room, and that the charge will come off soon, but it's still a big inconvenience since it's a lot of money.

Disliked: I was charged twice for the room. I talked to the front desk and they say they only charged me once, so I don't know what happened. If the second charge doesn't get reimbursed back to me soon I'll need to dispute it with my bank.

This was a very nice hotel. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bathroom was as well, with lots of towels. Our room window was facing the freeway which another reviewer said was loud - I did not hear a thing. We took a Lyft to a concert we were attending at Doheney Beach - the patio out front was super nice in waiting for that Lyft with nice comfortable patio furniture. We went to two local bars right around the corner within walking distance. One had a great live band , the other had an awsome patio with a huge firepit and great food. We walked down the street in the morning to Starbucks. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or explore the town better but from what I did see I would highly reccommend. Price wasn't too bad either.

Would stay again for sure!

Disliked: My husband and I usually take our dog on our trips. We have never had flea bites until we stayed at the Volare. In addition the furnace in the room was super noisy. I tried to call the front desk s few times but none one picked up. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Liked: My room was immaculate and well-appointed. Loved having access to the balcony and bathtub. The bathroom area in particular was well done. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: A check-in time at 4pm seems exceptionally late. I had a wedding at 4pm and had to change in a friend's room since my room wasn't available. Travellers are generally arriving earlier than 4, maybe think about changing your check-in time. Also at check-in time, the desk was over-run - a single employee was having to deal with a long line of guests, most of whom seemed to be sitting around with their luggage waiting for check-in. It would seem important to at least have multiple employees to check people in, especially on a Friday afternoon.
